Amr Gaber holds his PhD in Egyptology from Durham University, UK (2009). His thesis is entitled, the Central Hall in the Egyptian Temples of Ptolemaic Period. He worked as an Honorary Research Associate from 2013 till 2015 in the Research Institute for Arts and Humanities (RIAH), Swansea University, UK, where he conducted research about funerary texts in ancient Egypt. Moreover, he worked between 2020 and 2021 as an Honorary Research Fellow in the department of History, Classics and Egyptology at Swansea University. His research interests include Ptolemaic Writing, demonology and cultic rituals.
